We have completed and dispatched a mixed consignment of gearbox spare parts for Bauer BC30 and BC40 trench cutters to a customer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The photos were taken in our Korean workshop at pre-shipment inspection, before the parts were crated. The first photo shows three large flanged covers, painted orange and stretch-wrapped, with machined seal faces and full rings of finished bolt holes. Even bolt spacing and clean bores matter here, because these covers close the drive housing and hold the seal alignment that keeps slurry out of the gear oil. Other photos show the internals laid out for checking: spiral bevel gear sets, splined drive shafts, splined gear sleeves with toothed ends, triangular planet carriers with internal splines and three finished bearing bores, spacer and labyrinth rings, and machined cover plates in bright turned steel. The sleeves and carriers carry a dark surface finish, while the shafts and rings are still bright from machining and protected with wrapping and yellow VCI sheets so nothing arrives with surface corrosion after the sea voyage. The consumables are bagged individually and hand-marked with part number and quantity — O-rings, seal rings, retaining rings, shims, washers, plugs and bolts — so the fitter can pick a kit at the machine instead of sorting loose hardware. Heavier ring components were bubble-wrapped and fitted with lifting eyes for safe handling.
